I'm scrapping AWTAI for the time being.

Despite recieving encouragement from both deviants (one even sent me a note) and email contacts, I am shelving AWTAI. I waited too long to continue it and lost my motivation. I've also been rather busy lately (I'm writing two articles for a Sega Genesis fansite, not to mention my schoolwork), so I haven't had much time to think about it. So, I'm sorry for not following through with it, but I need to start again. I need to learn from the mistakes that I made when I attempted my first story. I need to do something different.

Which is why I'll be writing a fantasy story (don't worry, it won't be that generic Tolkien garbage that's so prevalent today) after I get everything shaped up. I'll commit myself to a two-week schedule for each installment (I dislike using the term "chapter" in a WIP; I'll put real chapter divisions in if I actually finish it) from the day that I start, regardless of whether or not I get approval (I don't want to wait indefinitely like I did last time). Criticism is welcome, though.

  • Shell of choice: If I could make my own, I'd use it. But I can't. So I just use the Vista shell.
  • Wallpaper of choice: A picture of some sort of river and some rocks and stuff
  • Skin of choice: Say what? Default for everything.
  • Favourite game: PC: The Neverhood. Old consoles: Earthworm Jim. New consoles: Ratchet and Clank series.
  • Favourite gaming platform: Amiga, because it's the greatest computer ever created.
  • Favourite cartoon character: Earthworm Jim, probably.
  • Personal Quote: "Blending to the flank, Dennagon breezed athwart his opponents"
  • Tools of the Trade: A pencil and MSPaint. I can't stand GraphicsGale.

hmm. you have some nice stuff. and it actually seems like you care about the concepts of art unlike most people who just say pretty. or lol. you actually seem to care about actually helping people to improve on their stuff. which is really a good thing. more people should be like you.

You're tellin' me. He acts like a spoiled 10 year old, but then calls me out on being a 16 year old while we were in a bit of a squabble. As if my age changes the fact that I was right. He seriously needs to back off when people critique DF-01.
